Sounds great I will have to look that up. We had been encouraged to stay away from iron because of strep.

It is important to have a place where you can be real. I often remind myself of Job or Naomi. Sometimes bad things happen and it is difficult for those on the outside to understand why God has allowed this to happen to you. I used to think bad things didn't happen to people who were really Godly. I realize now that not everyone has the strength to handle these trials. And while I am daily humbled and see only my own short comings magnified through this autism apparently that is not what others see. I still daily wish and pray the autism away, but wonder as well what God has and is working on.
We had prayed and cried over the church situation for several years. God recently opened a door and we became involved in a network of home churches. It isn't always perfect but this group of people isn't looking for perfect. I wouldn't say we fit in and I don't think that is the goal. But I do feel loved and prayed for, and that is alot.

Blessings

Just found you through the Jeub website. Glad I did. We had 4 of our babies at home with a midwife. Midwifes ROCK!

I'll be getting myself a snack and stopping by for a long while to do some reading here at your place.

Take care,
Amy

Very inspirational. I really love reading stories like these. It would be a good idea to make a text version of it since the images do take a while to load.

Thanks, Jodi, sorry, I snuck a peek, and appreciated your inspiring thoughts. I believe the Lord has been trying to teach me all through my life that the less I think of myself the more joyful I am. Life is for giving. May the Lord bless you and your family. Dave T.

This is a beautiful and true message.
I could never imagine leaving my newborn in a daycare or not having children at all or sending my children away once I have children just to have "Me Time."
I believe EVERYONE should use the JOY motto.
JESUS FIRST, OTHERS SECOND, YOURSELF LAST. JOY.
Consider this and your life will be better!

Good afternoon Dear Jodi!

How glad was I to discover your so interesting Website
and Blog concerning the Autism. It is through the Above
Rubies magazine that I have heard about your Family
facing the Autism with your Dear Children in your daily life.
My Daughter Little Alex has written to you a few hours ago, because she was very interested about what you have written about this subject,as Alex, is an autistic child
with Asperger Syndrome.
I am taking care of her 24 hours a day.
Alex is a very loving child. She has learned English by her
self. She has written her Blog in English and
in French.
To help her,I have learnt how to play Celtic Harp, as this instrument is very soothing for the autistic children and adults. I am doing very deep researches in this field.
We do live in the French Swiss Alps, not too far from Geneva.
I would like to thank you so much to have taken some of your time to read my message.
Please feel free to contact me at any moment.
Have a Blessed and Peaceful Day with your Dear Ones!
With my warmest wishes from Heidi's Land.
